Art and technology

I’m a cross-disciplinary, ‘out-of-the-box’ thinker. I love learning. I read ~35 books/year spanning business strategy, psychology, software engineering, technology. I love everything related to the arts, technology and startups.

Fluorescent sign saying time for change

My journey to becoming a software engineer was an exciting one. I have lived in 4 different countries and learnt 4 languages - not programming languages. I grew up in Hungary and got my undergraduate and masters degrees in the Netherlands. I studied economics and entrepreneurship. I did academic research, worked as a consultant in education and spent a big portion of my post-graduate years in the arts sector. I worked as a principal choreographer in Canada and California, and I choreographed for World of Dance Season 3 produced by Jlo. I loved the social sciences, but something was missing.

Inspired by female founders, I wanted to upgrade my technical skills, so I started coding. Python, SQL, back-end stuff and some data science. Lambda School and the Summer Hackers Program came at the perfect time - just when I was ready to take it seriously and join a bootcamp.
